Jln Mendu Lychee tree

Almost everyone who walks pass or drive pass this tree they will that a look at it....some would ask themselves ' what's that?? Is that rambutan?? Looks weird...but delicious...'

Well, don guess anymore..let me tell u what it is..

It is the one and only Kuching lychee tree!!! Yeah that's right, the ONLY one you can find in Kuching...
If you haven got the chance to see it you better go take a look now!! cause it doesn't bear fruits every year, and this year it bored more than ever ...it's just one of the house right behind Dua puluh sen at Jln Mendu...

Let me give you sneak peek first...then give you some history of the tree...

Look at all those lychees....yummy...

These fruits are originally brought back from Singapore, and after tasting the juicy fruits the seeds were being planted in a small pot. Then the little plant began to grow healthy under the care of it's loving owner. When it became too big and could not fit into the pot anymore it was moved away....to a new place a new home.. at other corner of the house..hahah...
In another few years time the tree was being moved again...the poor tree but after that move it stood where it is till now....also at the corner of the house..
When it started to bear fruits not only everyone in the house was delighted but so were the squirrels and the birds ...
So that's is breifly the history of the tree...

I wan some i wan some....haiz...it's too high up...

Not a bunch of them..but a few whole bunches of them!!!!

One whole basket of lychees....freshly plucked...free of pesticide, free of fertilizers...just lots of water and sunshine...

WOoo..imagine the fruit in your mouth..so juicy..so sweet....mayb if you go and ask..they'll giv you some..give it a try!!!
